On behalf of the Council the Chairman wished a speedy recovery to Cllr. David J. Roberts and Mrs Wendon Wigglesworth, sister of Cllr. Robert G. Owen.
MINUTES
The minutes of the meeting held on October 16th 2024 were found to be correct.
MATTERS ARISING
Budget Plan
It was reported that the Council had spent £17,122.99 (which included bank charges) since the start of the new financial year and this was £2,473.04 less expenditure than what was earmarked in the budget for the year.
Village Bus Shelter
The Clerk reported that she had forwarded a request for a bus shelter in the village from Rosy Berry to Gwynedd Council and she had received a reply stating that at this time the Council does not receive Welsh Government funding for the installation of new shelters but some Community/Town Councils are purchasing some of their own. Also stating that it was understood that all Councils in Wales needed to apply next year for funding to put new shelters or replace the old ones and asking if she wanted to put the site on this list and the Clerk declared that she had been asked to do this. ‘There was another email received from Rosy Berry along with a picture showing a seat that would be suitable for temporary installation at the location in question with also an email stating that the Council had to act on this as she thought there should at least be a seat at this location and she had been waiting half an hour for a bus and standing for a long time was a problem for some elderly people. Following discussion it was agreed to purchase a seat to place on a temporary measure near the bus stop sign and move it to the Maes in Llandanwg once the bus shelter was installed.
Public Seat
The Clerk reported that she had put this issue on the agenda to remind Members that a new seat needed to be purchased for car park in Y Maes, Llandanwg and that this was due to be done in winter of last year. This issue has already been discussed with the above issue.
PLANNING APPLICATIONS
None come to hand since the last meeting.
TREAURER’S REPORT
The Treasurer reported that there was £10,783.09 in the current account and £5,694.89 in the reserve account

Mr. Arwel Thomas – £470.00 – cut cemetery grass, cut ivy and brambles
Mrs Annwen Hughes – £499.98 – 3 months wages
British Legion – £40.00 – 1 poopy wreath
The above payments were processed by Cllr. Russell Sharp and Cllr. Eurig Hughes approved the payments and permission was granted to the Clerk/Treasurer to make payment on line or by cheque at the end of the meeting.

CORRESPONDENCE
Snowdonia National Park
Received a letter from the above together with the document regarding the receipt of a Tree Protection Order on Cae yr Odyn trees in Llanfair and stating that the Authority made this Tree Preservation Order on the 15th November 2024 and it will remain in force for 6 months or until the Authority confirms the Order, whichever will be first. Also stating that if the Council wants to object or wants to comment on this Order they need to do this by the 16th of this month. It was agreed there were no comments to be made on this matter.
Gwynedd Council – Electoral Department
Received an email from the above department regarding a community survey which will run from the 11th of this month until the 20th of December and asking if the Council would like to take part in the survey. The Clerk had already forwarded this email to Members. It was agreed there were no comments to make regarding this survey.
Gwynedd Council – Environment Department
Received an email from the above regarding a consultation to do with parking schemes and stating from the 1st of April 2025 the enforcement hours of the short stay pay and display car parks will change from 10.00 up to 16.30 to the new regime from 9.00 up to 17.00 and also there will be a change in the parking fee structure and payment will have to be paid for at least 4 hours for comparison with the 2 hours that exsists at the moment. The Clerk had already forwarded this email to Members.
Valuation Office
The Clerk reported that Mrs Ann Lewis had contacted her stating that there was a need to fill the form that she had received from the above office regarding the hall and because that it was the Council that were the Trustees of the site that they fill the form on behalf of the hall Committee. It was agreed that the Clerk filled in the form that she had received.
ANY OTHER MATTER
Thanks was conveyed to Cllr. Guy Slater for arranging that an all purpose bin was installed in the carpark in Llandanwg.
It was made known that Remeberance Sunday had been a success and thanks to Cllr. Guy Slater for laying the wreath on behalf of the Council.
Concern was voiced that the overgrowth from Rhiwcenglau towards the hall had still not been cut and it was agreed that the Clerk contact Gwynedd Council once again.
