MINUTES
The minutes of the meeting held on February 18th 2026 were found to be correct.
MATTERS ARISING
Budget Plan
It was reported that the Council had spent £17,194.27 (which included bank charges) since the start of the new financial year and this was £934.37 more expenditure than what was earmarked in the budget for the year.
Opening Tenders of Footpath Grass Cutting
The Clerk reported that she had received 4 tenders to carry out the above work. After a discussion it was agreed to accept Mr. Christian Bowater’s tender to carry out the work of cutting the grass on the public footpaths.
Opening Tenders of Cemetery Grass Cutting
The Clerk reported that she had 4 tenders to carry out the above work. After a discussion it was agreed to accept Mr. Arwel Thomas’s tender to carry out the work of cutting the grass of the cemtery.
PLANNING APPLICATIONS
None come to hand since last meeting.
TREASURER’S REPORT
The Treasurer reported that there was £20,142.82 in the bank, £5,816.60 in the reserve account .

The above payments were processesed by the Cllr David John Roberts and Cllr. Russell Sharp approved the payments and permission was granted to the Clerk/Treasurer to make payment on line or by cheque at the end of the meeting.

None had come to hand since the last meeting.
GWYNEDD COUNCIL MATTERS
Cllr. Annwen Hughes reported that the Council Tax is going to be 5.1% for the next financial year, that she had contacted the Highways Department and sent them pictures asking why the cone is in the middle of the car park in Llandanwg and also drew their attention to the fact that the hole by the manhole needs attention. She had received an email from Ms Rosy Berry expressing concern that the public path near Cae Gwyn, Llanfair is very dangerous due to all the water running from the field and asking if it would be possible to make a place for the water to go.
