Mr. Roger Mayne
Received another e-mail from the above stating that he was not happy with the Members answer that he received following the Council meeting last month and stating that he had measured Beach Road in Harlech that is with these lines and that this road is smaller that the road down towards Y Maes. Also stating that other matters need to be considered regarding this road i.e that the coastal path runs up this orad and that many walkers use it and also that Llandanwg station is used regularly and it is not safe to walk down to the beach or in the other direction. Asking the Members to reconsider his offer. It was agreed to contact the Highways Department to ask for their advice regarding placing such lines or would a sign be better.
ANY OTHER MATTER
Cllr. Mair Thomas reproted that a meeting of the hall committee had been held on the 8th of this month and that Cllr. Robert G. Owen had chaired the meeting. The bank balance is still healthy and arrangements were made for Remembrance Sunday, the wi-fi is working well. The next meeting of the committee will be held on the 28th of January 2026.
It was agreed to contact the Maritime Officer to draw their attention to the pile up of sand in the car park in Llandanwg and also let them know that the path to the beach is slowly closing with sand.

GWYNEDD COUNCIL MATTERS

It was learned that a voter had asked whether it would be possible to yield all ways on the old Llanfair Road near the Caersalem crossroads, but it was noted that this issue had been discussed years ago by the Council and that this is not going to work.
Cllr. Annwen Hughes reported that she had contacted the Highways Department regarding the sign “Llanfair” that had disappeared and that she had been told that a new sign had been ordered by them and this will be installed once it arrives.
